I’m obsessed with this incredible piece by @patrickhughesartist called “Grand Tetons” (2006). He invented a technique called “Reverspective”… basically reverse perspective. It looks like a flat painting of doors opening onto a mountain range, but it’s actually a sculpted 3D relief. The “furthest” points are physically sticking out towards you. The result?
