When I got into this green ammonite nodule I found on Charmouth beach, I found that the ammonite was so high it only had millimeters of rock above the ammonite in some places. It meant it was time to have some fun with it! Although not everyone's cup of tea I quite enjoy the challenge of preparing these unique fossils. :) taking away so much of the nodule resulted in me discovering 3 more ammonites hidden within the matrix. Including one right under the larger androgynoceras :) #ammonite #prehis
