Yellowstone is amazing. But it’s SO CROWDED. Lassen Volcanic National Park offers some of the same features, but 86% fewer people visit the park each year! If you only have one day to spend in Lassen, here’s what we recommend: • Stop by the Sulphur Works. It’s quick, but fun to see! • Hike the 3-mile round trip Bumpass Hell trail.
