We fill up our hiking packs with gear and snacks then we hike up the mountain together. We usually make a day out of it and take our time hiking up and down. We love to have an array of charcuterie snacks trail side. My kids search for squirrels, butterflies, rocks, cool sticks, and flowers. We stop for bugs and any kinds of running water along the way too. Our hike days are special to us.
