Don’t be intimidated by the fan brush! it creates a texture that’s so versatile in paintings! Using it with the dry brush technique leaves just enough negative space on its own for a more simplified way of creating a glistening water effect ! Sea salt is also a very versatile tool for watercolor. I love using it to give sand more texture.
