Sawflies lay their eggs on the leaves of roses and when the eggs hatch the little green larva start eating the leaves. It’s a good idea to start inspecting once the leaves emerge for white window pane damage or holes in your leaves. Flip those leaves over and squish the larva to kill them. if you have a major problem that you haven’t been on top of this year, you have a few low toxic organic controls, you can spray on the underside of your roses weekly. PLEASE DO NOT USE SYSTEMIC INSECTICIDES. T
