Here’s an ammonite deathbed we found wearing out of a shale slab! 😍🤩 The ammonite is roughly 185 Million Years Old from the Upper Lias, Lower Jurassic (far older than most of the dinosaurs!) 🦕🦖🐬 When preserved in shale, the whirls of the ammonite are often fully crushed and not 3D, as in this case, however it’s still a beautiful fossil in our opinion! 🤗🐊 For full fossil hunt episodes head to “Yorkshire.Fossils” on YouTube! 🐊 There’s a link in my bio 🦕 If anyone would like a Genuine York
