The Wolf fire in Riverside County is now more than 2,400 acres in size, although firefighters are making progress.

T he Wolf Fire has led to evacuation orders across an area alongside Interstate 10 near the city of Banning. The Wolf Fire erupted at around 3 pm on Sunday, and so far, three firefighters have been injured as they struggle to contain the blaze. According to Cal Fire, 4,261 structures are threatened by this blaze.

The largest currently ablaze in the Sunshine State has been dubbed the Wolf Fire, which erupted at around 3:09 p.m. Sunday near Banning and has spread across 1,165 acres. No casualties have been reported and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
