Four Iranian nationals are among those arrested as part of an investigation into a suspected plot to "target a specific premises".

Britain's counter-terrorism police have arrested eight men, seven of whom are Iranian nationals, in two separate investigations, London's Metropolitan Police said on Sunday.

Counter-terror police arrested five men in one investigation and a further three in another. Both operations concerned Iranian nationals, though were not connected to each other, police said.
