Sophie Cunningham pushed through all the emotions surrounding her return and helped the Fever pull out a W vs. Dream
Following her debut, Cunningham spoke out with a "special" outlook for the Fever. Indiana has been viewed as a potential WNBA Finals contender, and that is exactly what the 28-year-old seems to feel about the team.
Cunningham injured her ankle during the Fever's final preseason game against the Dream on May 10. Despite openly wanting to play, she was listed as day-to-day to start the season and wound up missing Indiana's first two games at home against the Chicago Sky and Atlanta.
The new Indiana Fever guard did not play today in the WNBA season opener, but Cunningham certainly turned heads with her WNBA pregame tunnel fit.
