Elle Fanning is quickly becoming one of the busiest 20-somethings in Hollywood. Not only did her family drama Sentimental Value get a 19-minute standing ovation at Cannes, but she's currently filming The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping and will enter production for The Nightingale soon.

Elle Fanning plays an android who teams up with a Predator to survive a treacherous planet and a mysterious monster in the trailer for "Predator: Badlands."

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, "Badlands" director Dan Trachtenberg confirms Fanning's character Thia is a Weyland-Yutani synthetic, and he also explains why he chose that over casting the actress as a human.
