In recent times, ESPN has shifted its broadcast strategy, favoring content from former athletes. Notable figures such as Pat McAfee, Jefferson and Kendrick Perkins are regular features on various sports shows, with Jefferson and Perkins often appearing on NBA broadcasts.

Richard Jefferson will be back on ESPN and ABC next season after reaching an agreement to do so. That’s per Andrew Marchand of The Athletic, who says Jefferson is expected to remain on the network’s top NBA broadcast team alongside play-by-play staple Mike Breen.

Doris Burke remains in limbo as ESPN has yet to decide on her future, while Richard Jefferson is reportedly remaining with the network
