An estimated 45,000 people welcomed newly-crowned All-Ireland hurling champions Tipperary back to Thurles last night.

Cork’s failure to get to grips with Tipperary’s use of Bryan O’Mara as a sweeper was one of the most disappointing aspects of their All-Ireland SHC final defeat, according to Donal Óg Cusack.
