A new Shake Shack will open at Tanger Outlets in Riverhead next year, according to a company spokesperson.

Riverhead High School’s ceramic poppy art installation has a new home. The red ceramic poppies, hand-crafted by art students since 2021, now grace the main entrance of Calverton National Cemetery.

Theresa A. Olender of Coram, formerly of Calverton, died on May 18, 2025, in Coram. She was 95 years old.
