(Reuters) -Zia Yusuf said on Saturday he would return to Britain's right-wing Reform UK party, two days after quitting as its chair, blaming his abrupt resignation on exhaustion from the job.

Zia Yusuf, who resigned as Reform UK chairman on Thursday, is to return to work for the party in a new role. Yusuf will lead what the party calls its "Doge team" – which is modelled on the Department of Government Efficiency set up by President Trump.

The sudden departure of Zia Yusuf, chairman of Nigel Farage’s anti-immigration party, is a blow to the organization and comes after a clash with another party member over the burqa.
