The Wolves enter as favorites to win the series against the Warriors, but they were underdogs against the Lakers in the first round. Anthony Edwards starred against L.A., posting 26.8 points per game. Edwards got plenty of help as Julius Randle, Jaden McDaniels, Naz Reid and Rudy Gobert all had their moments in the series win.

Timberwolves forward Naz Reid left the game in the first half with an apparent hamstring injury, too. He dove for a loose ball and hit fans sitting courtside, and then limped off and went back to the locker room. Despite losing Curry, the Warriors still took a 44-31 lead into the break at halftime.

Golden State Warriors superstar guard Stephen Curry has exited Game 1 vs the Minnesota Timberwolves due to an apparent injury. Curry attacked the lane and finished at the rim, but quickly reached for his leg and motioned toward the bench. As soon as the action paused, he limped off the court and made his way directly to the locker room.
