Canada's new prime minister, Mark Carney, won the job with a promise to confront the increased aggression shown by President Donald Trump — and he'll have the opportunity to do that in a face-to-face Oval Office meeting on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Mark Carney will soon find out what kind of reception he will receive from U.S. President Donald Trump and members of his administration, as the two leaders are set to sit down today for their first face-to-face meeting.

Trump continues to push the idea of Canada becoming the 51st state and has hit the country with a 25% tariff on imports.
