Damage can be seen in Carmel after a round of severe storms and multiple tornadoes struck Central Indiana in early April.

Dozens of residences and 13 businesses were damaged in the severe weather that rolled through Carmel last week.

Carmel City Council Vice President Matthew Snyder said the long-term plan will better prepare the city for future damaging severe storms.
