The battle over mid-decade redistricting in Texas -- where the state’s congressional lines could be redrawn well ahead of the upcoming census -- continues Monday.

House Speaker Dustin Burrows has issued civil arrest warrants for the absent members found to be in Texas. None has been executed to date.

From New York to California, Illinois, Florida and Maryland, nine states have joined Texas’s fight to redraw congressional lines. Last month President Trump pushed Texas to change its congressional map to give Republicans five more seats in the U.S. House.
