PlanetF1 on MSNCarlos Sainz left ‘completely shocked’ by Lewis Hamilton bombshell in new Ferrari confessionCarlos Sainz: "I was completely shocked. I went from believing I was going to be in Ferrari for a while, to suddenly, Lewis is replacing me."
Williams star Carlos Sainz has revealed the main thing he 'hates' about being an F1 driver in 2025. The Spaniard is one of the grid's most experienced racers, having spent more than a decade performing at the top level in the sport.
Alex Albon believes he is driving at the same high level he has for much of his Williams career, but that the outside perception of him has changed by having Carlos Sainz as his teammate.
We also saw evidence of this in FP2 when, on his third lap, Sainz was a little too eager on the throttle exiting a quick corner, lost the rear and nearly collected Lewis Hamilton as he spun. Thankfully, both escaped without damage. On race pace, things look slightly better for Sainz.
