Fresno Police have created a task force to combat retail theft, funded by Proposition 36, and are working with surrounding agencies to track repeat offenders and prevent additional thefts.
California has awarded the City of Fresno $10.5 million to support homeless services at the city’s shelters. The money comes from the Homeless Housing, Assistance, and Prevention fund.
