Arkansas still has some of the lowest gas prices in the country, but drivers across the state say a nearly 47-cent national increase is hitting their wallets.

Arkansas gas prices are approaching $3 a gallon, with an average of $2.993, up 11 cents from the previous day, while the national average is $3.48 a gallon.

The national average for a gallon of gasoline is $3.45, up 51.1 cents from last week.
