Red Raiders continue to be a major player in college sports’ new era of player compensation, beating several heavyweights to top prospect.

In one of the first major deals in the revenue-sharing era, Texas Tech commit Felix Ojo has reportedly agreed to a deal with the school that could be worth up to $5.1 million.

Okpala is a four-star prospect, according to 247Sports' composite rankings, and the No. 27 edge prospect in the nation and No. 35 player in Texas. In 2024 he totaled 55 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, five sacks and two forced fumbles.
