D uring a town hall event, Republican Rep. Nancy Mace compared herself to President Donald Trump and requested he endorse her for South Carolina's governor -- a race where there is already a crowded slate of five candidates.

Republican Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina says she plans to start a statewide series of town halls this week in Myrtle Beach now that she's running for governor.

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) claimed she was holding the "Mother of All Town Halls," and pledged she would answer questions from anyone, including Democrats. However, anyone who appeared to disagree with her was removed from the event by Mace's security.
