On3’s Steve Wiltfong, who has correctly predicted many of Michigan’s recent commitments, just changed his prediction that Irma (S.C.) Dutch Fork four-star edge rusher Julian Walker would end up committing to South Carolina to the Wolverines.

According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, the 6-foot-1, 175-pounder is the No. 177 overall player and No. 16 safety in the country, although Michigan is recruiting him as a cornerback. He took official visits to Michigan and Kentucky this month before making his decision.

Things aren't slowing down for Michigan football on the recruiting trail. One day after landing five-star edge rusher Carter Meadows, the Wolverines landed their 19th commitment in the 2026 cycle after four-star corner Andre Clarke committed to Michigan.
