B irmingham braced Saturday for wildman rocker Ozzy Osbourne's final ever gig as Black Sabbath's frontman, with thousands flocking to his UK hometown for a celebration of the heavy metal genre he helped to create.

Osbourne’s last concert is set to take place on Saturday, July 5, at Villa Park in Birmingham, England. All profits for the all-day event will be evenly distributed between Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital and Acorns Children's Hospice, a Children's Hospice supported by Aston Villa.
