An agreement signed Monday between the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Department of Homeland Security has given U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement access to the personal data of all Medicaid enrollees, according to a report from The Associated Press.

A new federal agreement will give ICE access to personally identifiable information for all of the nation’s Medicaid enrollees.

The Trump administration has struck a deal to give immigration officials access to Medicaid enrollees' personal data. It's expected ICE will use the information to try to track down immigrants who may not be living legally in the US.
