Hurricane names Beryl, Helene and Milton have been retired. The names Brianna, Holly and Miguel will replace them.

WASHINGTON -- Hurricanes Helene, Milton and Beryl were so nasty last year that their names are being retired.

H elene was the deadliest hurricane in the United States since Hurricane Katrina in 2005, killing 248 people in multiple states. North Carolina, especially the state’s mountain counties, were extremely hard hit.
