The NHTSA has advised owners to park recalled vehicles outdoors and away from buildings until repairs are made to prevent potential fires.

The company is currently recalling certain Chevrolet trucks due to brake issues that could cause a fire. Approximately 62,460 vehicles are affected by the recall, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

General Motors is recalling nearly 62,500 Chevrolet Silverado pickup trucks because their brake pressure sensor assembly could potentially leak and pose a fire risk.
