Voting machine company Dominion has settled its defamation lawsuit against conservative media outlet Newsmax for $67 million, according to an SEC filing from the outlet.

Newsmax agreed to pay $67 million to settle a lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems, which had alleged the network falsely claimed the electronic-voting vendor rigged votes in the 2020 presidential election to Donald Trump's detriment.

The multimillion-dollar settlement came as President Donald Trump continued to make false claims about voting machine fraud.
