NASCAR has come down heavily on Austin Hill after he took out Aric Almirola at Indianapolis in a retaliatory move.

NASCAR issued a one-race suspension to Xfinity Series driver Austin Hill for his role in a crash in Indianapolis last weekend. Hill, the driver of the Richard Childress Racing No. 21 Chevrolet, will be replaced by Austin Dillon behind the wheel at Saturday's race at Iowa Speedway.

Under NASCAR’s rule revision this year, team owner Richard Childress must apply for a waiver for Hill to be admitted to the playoffs since he is missing the Iowa Xfinity Series race. Austin Dillon is driving Hill’s Xfinity car at Iowa.
