Gallup, the analytics firm that has tracked presidential approval for nearly 90 years, will stop measuring job performance ratings starting in 2026.
Gallup’s last presidential approval rating, in December 2025, put Mr. Trump’s rating at 36 percent, among his lowest ratings as president.
The firm that pioneered political survey research nearly nine decades ago said that it had stopped publishing presidential approval ratings.
For nearly a century, Gallup’s U.S. polling has provided rigorous, independent insight into the American people," a company email read.
