Weather forecast for Iowa football vs. USC trending favorable towards Hawkeyes
The Iowa Hawkeyes are heading to Los Angeles this weekend, where the weather is often a consistent and beautiful 75 degrees and sunny. That may not be the case this weekend, with forecasts showing the Hawkeyes may bring some of their weather with them.
So far this season, we have had 13 named storms, 5 hurricanes and four major hurricanes. Three of those major hurricanes have been category fives, which hasn't happened in a single season in about twenty years!
Expect a high of 49 degrees that feels more like 42, with an overnight low of 31. Forecasters predict it will be breezy and not as cold with sunshine and a few clouds. Throughout the day, wind will be blowing west southwest at 16.1 miles per hour.
While partly sunny skies are expected by late afternoon, the cold conditions will continue. Evening temperatures will drop to the low 30s but feel like the teens. By 11 p.m., the wind chill is forecast to reach 11 degrees with gusts as high as 35 mph. Additional flurries are possible in the late evening hours.
Phoenix will remain warm and dry on Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the mid-to-upper-80s, but beginning Friday, big changes are coming.
