A 76-year-old man died after the car he was in was hit by a tractor trailer on the Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway Nov. 3.

President Donald Trump has canceled trade negotiations with Canada over what he called a “fake” ad that featured parts of an anti-tariff speech delivered by conservative hero and former President Ronald Reagan.

Officials say that the vehicle was struck by a Peterbilt semi trailer, injuring both occupants of the Lexus. The two occupants, a man and a woman both in their 70s, were taken to Bethesda North Hospital where the man later died from his injuries.

On Nov. 3, a broken-down vehicle was struck by a tractor trailer, killing a man. The Hamilton County Coroner's Office has identified the man killed.

A collision involving a tractor trailer and another vehicle has closed down the eastbound lanes of Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway past Ridge Road in the afternoon Nov. 3.
