Both dynamic leaders are now set to be among the hottest names in the bidding war, after Delhi Capitals released Pant and Kolkata Knight Riders' skipper Shreyas Iyer became available for the auction.

Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer are among the IPL captains who are likely to get released by their respective franchises before the IPL 2025 mega-auction. Rishabh has been leading Delhi Capitals since 2021 while Iyer took over as the captain of Kolkata Knight Riders in 2022.

Each franchise will be able to form a maximum squad of 25 players (including retained players), and a total of 204 slots will be up for grabs at the auction.
