Three people were seriously injured in a shooting at a McDonald's in Gaffney, South Carolina. At 4:03 p.m. Monday, officers with the Gaffney Police Department and deputies with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting with injuries at the McDonald’s on E. Frederick Street.

HCSO said the weapons disturbance suspect shot himself inside the McDonald’s bathroom in Pinehurst, north of Tomball, when MCSO deputies tried to arrest him.

Employees at a McDonald’s in Galt helped officers arrest a San Joaquin County man suspected of carrying out a series of robberies Monday night at fast food restaurants in the area, police said. Officers initially responded to a report of a robbery in progress at a Taco Bell on C Street in Galt, just west of Highway 99.
