Amazon has rolled out an update for Vega OS that adds VPN support for the Fire TV Stick 4K Select. But only two apps are currently available.
The Fire TV Stick 4K Select is down to just $9.99 at Amazon for select customers with the on-page coupon code STREAM4K. That's 75% off its list price of $39.99 and its lowest price ever by a landslide. Without the coupon code, it's still a pretty solid deal at $21.99, but $10 for a 4K streaming stick is honestly outrageous.
The newest version of every Fire TV Stick is on sale, and not just by a little bit—the discounts span 42% on the low end (or 36% if factoring in the Fire TV Cube) and stretch all the way up to 50% off.
The Amazon Fire TV 4K Select was launched at the end of September as the latest member of the brand's streaming device lineup. It is slightly different to its siblings though, in that it runs on Amazon 's own Vega OS software, but still offers all the major apps through cloud streaming.
