The Beaver moon and Taurid meteor shower peak this week: When and where to view the celestial events
The beaver moon, known as November's full moon, is also the second of three consecutive supermoons this year, which means it's expected to be even bigger and brighter than usual.
What is a Supermoon?A supermoon occurs when the moon is within 90% of its closest approach to Earth. This will be the second of three consecutive supermoons in 2025.Known for being the biggest and brightest moons of the year.
November's supermoon will be the closest one to Earth of the three so the view should be great, if clouds don't obstruct the view. The National Weather Service predicts light clouds across most of the Panhandle and North Florida, with clouds increasing the farther south you go.
The November 'beaver' moon will bring a large and particularly bright moon to Australian skies on Wednesday evening. The 'supermoon' rising after sunset on Wednesday is the second in a series of three that will happen this year.
You may want to look up on Tuesday and Wednesday nights to catch a special sight in the sky: a supermoon, the closest of the year.
