CHESTER, Pa. -- Facing a Paraguay side who have accomplished feats such as toppling Brazil and Argentina, the United States men's national team were able to take care of business, winning 2-1 at Subaru Park on Saturday in a game that saw a brawl take place before the final whistle started by Gustavo Gomez and Alex Freeman.

All time, the U.S. has a 4-2-2 win-draw-loss record vs. Paraguay. The most recent matchup was in a March 2018 friendly, which the U.S. won 1-0. In fact, all three of their recent battles ended 1-0, with the U.S. winning the recent two in 2016 and the aforementioned 2018 contest.
