Former UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion Jon Jones is quite interested in fighting at the proposed UFC event at the White House in celebration of the United States' 250th anniversary, per comments made to Joy of Everything's Joe Andaloro in an interview that dropped on social media Wednesday.

Jon Jones has his sights set on returning to action when the UFC goes to the White House for a historic event in 2026 and he already has an opponent in mind. Well technically, Jones is seeking the person holding onto the belt he relinquished after briefly announcing his retirement only to decide he wanted to compete again following President Donald Trump announcing plans to bring a UFC event to the White House as part of his plans for the America 250 celebration next July.

Former two-weight class UFC champion Jon Jones has confirmed that he plans to resume his career for a title bout at a UFC event that will take place on the grounds of the White House in 2026.
