A 13-year-old boy found dead in a ditch this week was last seen with his soccer coach, who is being investigated on separate sexual assault charges, police and the boy’s family said.

Authorities said that a body found in California’s Ventura County matched the description of a missing 13-year-old boy — and his relatives are alleging he was with his soccer coach before his disappearance.

On Sunday, the Hernandez family reported Oscar missing to the Los Angeles Police Department. The Los Angeles Police Department said their investigation took them to an area in Oxnard, California, and after a foot search, they found a body that matched the description of the missing teen.
