New Texas men's basketball coach Sean Miller and wife Amy got the royal treatment when they arrived on campus Tuesday: the cheerleaders’ welcoming committee, firing "Smokey" the cannon, the vanity neon sign and fellow coaches, alumni and luminaries on hand for the big day.

As big as the transfer portal is in college athletics, it's almost even more significant when coaches switch jobs in NCAA men's basketball.
