The Supreme Court on Monday cleared the way for President Donald Trump’s administration to strip temporary deportation protections from potentially hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans.

A federal judge had blocked the administration’s plan to remove the temporary protected status of more than 300,000 immigrants.

The Supreme Court has authorized the Trump administration to remove special legal protections for thousands of Venezuelan immigrants, leaving some vulnerable to deportation.
