The Florida Panthers seem inevitable these days. They defeated the Carolina Hurricanes, 5-3, in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Final on Wednesday night to reach the Stanley Cup Final for the third straight year.

Bill Zito didn’t do any significant celebrating after the Florida Panthers clinched their third straight trip to the Stanley Cup Final. He got some food and went back to work. At this point, no one around the team would expect anything different.

Aleksander Barkov leads the Panthers in the Stanley Cup Playoffs with 17 points (six goals, 11 assists) in 17 games. Sam Bennett (10 goals, six assists) and Matthew Tkachuk (five goals, 11 assists) each has 16 points, and Carter Verhaeghe (six goals, eight assists) and Brad Marchand (four goals, 10 assists) each has 14 points.
