A manhunt is apparently over after police said they arrested a suspect who they said killed an elderly man in east Houston last week. Aaron Bartholomew Sheehan, 40, is charged with murder, according to the Houston Police Department.

The hunt for the Washington state murder suspect ended Tuesday with Los Angeles Police Department officers arresting Alexander Lee Rogers, after it was reported Monday that his car was found abandoned in Calabasas.

A man wanted in a fatal stabbing in Longview, Wash., was arrested in Los Angeles on Tuesday after authorities found his vehicle in Calabasas and launched a manhunt.
