The attorney for Karmelo Anthony, the 17-year-old accused of murdering football star Austin Metcalf at a Texas track meet, insists he doesn’t have “any reason” to think the killing “wasn’t in self defense” — and will request the teen’s bond be lowered from $1,000,000.
Bail has reportedly been set for Karmelo Anthony following his involvement in the death of Austin Metcalf last week. The 17-year-old student admitted to stabbing Metcalf after they got into a fight this past Wednesday and has since been charged with murder.
Karmelo Anthony was charged with murder and is being held in the Collin County jail, where his bond has been set at $1 million.
