Severe storms capable of dropping heavy rain resulting in flooding, hail, and spawning tornadoes moved through Indiana Wednesday night, prompting warnings for Hoosiers. National Weather Service (NWS) Indianapolis expected up to 3 inches of heavy rain Wednesday night and three additional rounds leading into Sunday.
Here are the current weather alerts in both states: Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby and Trimble counties are under a flood warning until 9 p.m. Friday. Boyle, Casey, Green, Hart, Lincoln, Marion, Mercer, Taylor, Washington, Adair, Barren, Edmonson, Metcalfe and Russell counties are under a flood warning Friday until 10:30 p.m. EST.
