A "member of the military" allegedly made a false bomb threat on board a Hawaiian Airlines flight that was preparing to take off from San Diego, police say.

A Hawaiian Airlines flight at San Diego International Airport was evacuated on May 20 after a passenger made a bomb threat, authorities said.

The FBI said investigators determined the threat was not credible and there was no viable threat to public safety.
