U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said China had violated an agreement with the U.S. to mutually roll back tariffs and trade restrictions for critical minerals and issued a new veiled threat to get tougher with Beijing.

President Donald Trump sent stock futures diving early Friday after he accused China of breaking the handshake pact the two countries made in Geneva earlier this month that had helped reset a trade standoff.

President Trump says China is violating a recent trade deal and he's done being 'Mr. Nice Guy.' A temporary agreement was struck two weeks ago amid a growing trade war. The deal called for reductions of massive retaliatory tariffs on both sides for 90 days.
