Saturday was kind to most movies in the top 10 which saw lifts over Friday, in particularly Disney’s Lilo & Stitch and Paramount’s Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning which were respectively up 51% and 56%.

Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch” is riding a box office wave to $610 million in worldwide ticket sales, ranking as the second-biggest Hollywood release of 2025. With this momentum, “Lilo & Stitch” could eventually surpass “A Minecraft Movie” ($947 million) as the year’s top-earning movie to date.

With the latest action extravaganza, Mission: Impossible 8, Tom Cruise has returned for possibly the last time as Ethan Hunt. The franchise’s iconic legacy and popularity helped create strong buzz in the pre-release phase, but considering high expectations, the performance hasn’t been up to the mark.
